Цель урока: Развитие коммуникативных умений учащихся.
Задачи:
- обогатить знания учащихся о праздниках англоязычных стран
- стимулировать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка при помощи внедрения новых технологий обучения
- развивать умение учебного сотрудничества при выполнении групповой работы
Место проведения: компьютерный класс
Длительность проведения: 40 минут
Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска Interwrite Board, проектор, файл презентации GWB, цветная бумага (красная и синяя), ножницы.
Файл GWB создан с помощью InterWrite Workspace. Файл презентации состоит из 16 страниц. Страницы скомпонованы путем добавления специальных типов страниц с помощью одного из инструментов создания страниц (создание страницы с изображением).
Ход урока:
1. Оргмомент.
- Good morning, dear children!

- What day is it today?
- Today is Saturday, the 14th of February.
2. Основная часть урока.
- Who knows, what holiday do people celebrate at this date?
- St. Valentine's Day
- Right. Love! Happiness! Beauty! Today we have unusual lesson. We've gathered here to celebrate this holiday and talk about it.

(Чтение стихотворения, открыть стр.2)
- St. Valentine's Day is a religious holiday, which is celebrated in Great Britain, in many European countries and in the USA. And what do you know about this holiday?
- …, read, please information about St. Valentine's Day.
- (стр.3 – ученик читает информацию о празднике)
- There are some symbols of this holiday. Call them.
(Стр.4 – ученики хором называют символы праздника)
- Here you can see a heart with many letters on it. What words connected with the holiday can you find in the big heart? (valentine, romance, candy, friend, cake, love, kiss, hearts, card, red)
Учитель открывает стр.5.
- (учащиеся на доске находят и выделяют маркером слова, связанные с праздником)
- Well done! We are speaking about love, but what do you think love is like? Now you are to answer this question! Please, continue the phrase "Love is…"
(Учащиеся пишут маркером на доске свои мнения - стр. 6)
- Now I see you know what love is, but what well-known lovers pairs can you name?
- (Учащиеся соединяют пары на стр.7 при помощи перетаскивания имён)
- Very often people speak about love in poems. And now you must write poems! Make groups of 3 pupils.
(Учащиеся работают в группах, сочиняют и записывают стихотворение на доске - стр.8)
- Oh, you are good poets! But sometimes we can't just talk about love, we must show it! At this page you can see 6 hearts. Under these hearts there are some words. So, try to pantomime these words to each other so that they can name them. (a heart, a kiss, a letter, a guitar, a love, a flower)

- And now let's look next task. Here you must fill the gaps.
(стр.10 – учащиеся подбирают подходящее по смыслу слово и перетаскивают его в пропущенное место)
- You know that on St. Valentine's Day people make Valentine Cards and send them to each other. So, try your best and make a Valentine Card now.
(стр.11 – учащиеся выполняют из цветной бумаги валентинки, подписывают их – стр.12)
- Next task – complete the gaps and talk us about your love. Work in groups.
(Учащиеся сначала работают в группах, затем один человек от группы отмечает ответы на доске - стр.13)
- And now last task – we shall see how many word you will be able to make out of this one – Honeymoon. One person from each team goes to the board and writes one word.
(Учащиеся от каждой группы по очереди выходят к доске и пишут маркером составленные слова – стр.14)
